Brief Biography of Speakers

Graduated with her B.S. from Indiana University.  Was the first graduate assistant athletic trainer at Indiana University’s Ballet Department.  Has worked with Richmond Ballet, University of Cincinnati’s Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati Ballet, and various Broadway productions.  Is currently the athletic trainer for Dance Kaleidoscope and Butler University’s Dance and is the assistant athletic trainer at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School.

Brief Description of Presentation

The presentation is an introduction of Performing Arts Medicine to athletic trainers and students.  The presentation will also cover the roles and responsibilities and specialized skill sets needed and an overview of basic terminology.
