ATC for 23 years; worked
as an athletic trainer at all levels of competition,
elite athletes to youth sports; highlight of career
was 2001 National Championship for the University of
Miami football team where I was the Assistant
Athletic Trainer.
Have been involved in the education and supervision
of athletic training students throughout career
Given over 75 presentations at local, state,
district and national meetings/seminars/symposia
Undergraduate degree – East Stroudsburg University
Graduate degree – Eastern Illinois University
Presently pursuing doctorate in Rehabilitative
Science – Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA

Presentation
The purpose of this
presentation will be to:

Discuss the approach
of the physical examination to all body systems

Cardiac examination
including the four steps of the physical exam

Provide an overview
of respiratory and cardiac sounds
-
Provide a hands-on
opportunity to practice the cardio-pulmonary
physical exam
