Presenter:
Brady L. Tripp, PhD, ATC
Presentation Date: 03/18/2012
Described using a clinician's point of view.
Includes how to quickly evaluate literature (reports
of validity of orthopedic tests) based on if the
results of the test would change your clinical
suspicion of a specific pathology (likelihood
ratios). Also includes descriptions of classic and
newer orthopedic tests for common shoulder
pathologies in context. Attendees will be able to
identify useful (and non-useful) orthopedic tests
based on likelihood ratios; understand how positive
and negative findings of tests should affect their
clinical suspicion of the specific pathology.
