SEATA Athletic Training Student Workshop!
The 2005 SEATA Athletic Training Student Workshop will be
held Feb. 11-12 at the Crown Plaza Ravinia Hotel in Atlanta, GA.
Ray Castle, PhD, ATC, of Louisiana State University is the
Workshop Coordinator. R.T. Floyd, EdD, ATC, of The University
of West Alabama is the Competencies in Athletic Training
Director.

Education
Two simultaneous sessions will be offered, including:

Session I:
Foundations of Athletic Training Workshop (open to all
athletic training students) Begins at 8:00 A.M. Friday,
Feb. 11 and ends at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 12.
Session I is separated into two concurrent tracks based
upon the students level athletic training. For

- Prevention, Evaluation, and Initial
Management of Athletic Injuries (designed
for 1st year & pre-athletic training students)

year athletic training students)

Session II:
Competencies in Athletic Training Workshop
(for senior
and graduate students preparing to take the BOC
certification exam) Begins at 8:00 A.M. Friday, Feb. 11
and ends at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 12. For
