CAC LEADS PROGRAM

​

Mission: 

The mission of SEATA Leadership Enhancement and Development Series (LEADS) is to contribute to the education and development of transformational and servant leaders who can effectively motivate athletic trainers and advocate for the athletic training profession. 

 

The program is a 9 month, self paced program via Google Classroom. The application process was in March-June with the program running from June-April. The conclusion of the program coincides with the SEATA Annual meeting where students will receive a SEATA LEADS lapel pin identifying their commitment to the future of the profession. In addition, graduates will receive an Acknowledgement on SEATA website, recognition on the SEATA  social media platforms,  SEATA LEADS digital badge to be displayed on LinkedIn profiles and SEATA LEADS digital certificate.

SOUTHEAST ATHLETIC TRAINERS' ASSOCIATION

The Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association (SEATA) is District IX of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.  It is a not-for-profit organization dealing with the concerns of its members and the profession of athletic training as a whole.  This association was first started back in 1950.  Initially comprised of the members of the Southeastern Conference schools, this district is represented by Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
